Do these crystals respawn?

I have the same question... placed nav beacon with White crystals...

1. Do you need a mining ship to do it?

2. Are certain types off weapons more effective at blasting the asteroids than others?

3. Do the mining ship need to be the type that stores liquid cargo or solid cargo?

I just made about 14 million in 4 hours. Great way to get credits early on in the game! I hope there's more variety and rarer crystals to be found in more dangerous systems. Does anyone know where to sell unstable crystals? I have 54 I need to unload and they are too valuable to simply toss out.

Clever, I had not thought of that, if it dose respawn same color of crystal, that is.

no, starter ship is ok

2. Are certain types off weapons more effective at blasting the asteroids than others?
more DPS , faster it goes. but AOE weapons can kill the floating crystals.

3. Do the mining ship need to be the type that stores liquid cargo or solid cargo?
I think liquid is for gasmining.
